Among the many writing projects I have on my plate, one of my new favorites is being a contributing sportswriter to my friend Cody's online magazine. My first story was published today -- it's the ABC's of football so women who don't know the game can learn enough to follow it, and maybe even enjoy it.
It's a nice break from the heavier subjects I'm writing about these days -- palliative care, public health, nurse licensing, youth development, and infectious diseases.
